Another cinema chain going down the pan

It's been a year since I've gone to the cinema (Dune: P2). While a nice thing to do, I haven't done it again due to nothing else in a whole calendar year inspiring me to 1 hour travel each way, sit through a long film with no interval, sit in a large, cold empty room (so it felt like it's already dead) and I watched it at home a few weeks later and enjoyed just as much with all home comforts.

Sorry, but for me, cinema is dead unfortunately. Streaming, the pandemic and Marvel killed it.

Incredible speech at the Oscar’s

I'd rather sit at home in peace without some complete **** in front or near me making lots of noise with their mates or using phones as in the past there actually used to be security! Prices are extreme for going to the cinema and that's not with the food included. Then there's the amount of terrible movies such as Disney ( marvel ) stuff.

No love for Cinema

Cinema runs on greatly reduced staffing numbers these days. But, one quick word with someone the moment people starting making noise and they will be talked to and I've seen people kicked out.
If you really want to support cinema then the various "season ticket" deals would be the way to go about it. £18 - £20 month for all you can eat cinema is a bargain.
Nobody forcing you to buy food. You can bring as much cold food in with you as you like
Just don't watch the Disney or Marvel stuff (latest Captain America aside - I cannot remember the last time I saw a Marvel film advertised)
