Well, i bought this game on saturday, after 4 and a half hours of playing it, it was completed. I was quite dissapointed that it was so short.

I was just wondering a couple of things.

Are the sweets the captain give you at the start of any significance?
I hear there is an alternative ending, how so?

Is it possible i missed some things out?? I didnt get all of the DAS cards, i dont think, but thats all i can think of!

You finished it in 4 hours?

it took me longer than that to solve the stamp puzzle, and I think there are some things that I didn't do as I don't think i got it fully completed (I know if you run through a second time some things are meant to change).

I'm hoping they make some more games along the same lines, but longer, I loved it and it's a good indication of what creative programming can do with the DS's input methods (from memory it used all the advertised inputs and then some).

There are two slightly different endings depending on whether you solve the mission behind the little ghost dude or not.

I never solved it but couldn't be bothered to go back and do it again
think you give the sweets to the ghost.

The stamp puzzle i solved by accident!

I solved it with the ghost aswell, and you dont give him the sweets as far as i could tell!

edit: the game was fantastic, i just didnt think it woul be so short!

If you solve the mystery of the ghost (Dee?) then he dissapears (off the heaven presumably) and everyone goes home happy. If you don't manage it then he just kinda wanders around the island for eternity.

I solved it but I think that was due to me being so rubbish at the game that I had to touch pretty much everything to progress.

4 hours though! Wow, you must have not got stuck on a single bit. I got through it in 7 1/2 hours. I suck.

Meant to be different things for the first couple of times you complete it, not sure where I read that though.

I personally didn't solve the mystery of Daniel

Haha, one of the most ingenious thingybobs ever in a game! Kudos to Nintendo for their innovative approach to games.

The last game I remember playing which had such frustrating but worthwhile puzzles was Zelda: Link to the Past on the SNES. I mean, just how do Nintendo manage to do it? Let's hope they keep this up for the DS and Revolution :)

aye, i must have spent about 6 hours trying to solve it, i practically went through every room in the house 3 or 4 times in very close detail before finding out how to do it.

The picture in the storeroom on the other hand took me several hoursbefore i stumbled upon the answer in sheer frustration at about 3am after exhausting everything else - and promptly raised the biggest grin i've had whilst playing a game in years.

The stamp one took me a fair while to get, but the puzzle that stumped me the most in the entire game was easily the weird picture frame that you had to reflect on the DS's screens. It was so obvious once you knew what to do, but it just didn't occur to me at all for ages. It had me so stumped that I quit playing the game that day on that puzzle, and came back to it the next, still with no more idea what to do.

Yeah I had the exact same problem :o
Good little game though, some very clever touches to it. Just a pity it was so short. :(
