Yeah, the brand positioning's a bit odd on that one...you'd expect Palit and Xpertvision to be subsidiaries of Gainward.

there is no expertvision anymore, Palit has done away with them, to save selling so many different kinds.
Not sure why this has more "win" than the palit version since they have the same sink, triple cooler with display port, hdmi, dvi and d-sub all on the backplate.
much better cooler although its said the fans at least on a preview sample aren't that quiet and don't change with temp, so much better than you want load noise wise, but louder for idle. Hopefully they'll fix that on release versions.
I don't understand how all these companies fail so damn badly when it comes to heatsink design, especially since for years they had the right formula. Rear exhaust and blower fans are the in thing but utterly useless, same way most brands can't get away without using memory heatspreaders despite the fact they don't help and are often worse, those that use 4 sticks have zero airflow between them due to the added width of the sticks so get worse cooling that they would have without the spreaders.
Its amazing how many people won't buy a gfx card that doesn't exhaust the heat, because they've convinced themselves it will kill their cpu somehow due to the incredibly slight increase in temps.
Its actually unbelievable they made a great design and smeg it up with a loud fan for no reason.
