Another Dell 2007WFP question

Hi guys, first time on this forum.

I am looking into buying the dell 2007wfp for watching movies, web/brochure/graphics design, gaming and CAD modelling and running this monitor from my laptop. I own a Dell 8600 - 1.7GHz pentium M, 1Gb RAM, and a ATi Mobility Radeon 9600 pro turbo.

My question is, will my laptop handle a screen this big or am I crazy? Also, can anyone tell me how to find out the maximum resolution my gpu can go upto?

If this is your laptop then yes should be fine.

thanks for the reply, just wandering if anyone knows if the dell warranty covers thunder/corn flies inside the screen. got a couple in my laptop screen and a friend of mine has the same problem with his 17" dell monitor.
