Try the official F4 BIOS from here Also read through this to see what other people have disabled in their BIOS to get over 400Mhz.

The official F4 is newer than F4e.

What memory timings are you using or are they still set to auto ?(Ctrl+F1 on main Bios screen to get extra settings in M.I.T. menu) Have you set memory multiplier to 2 ?

yep, @ 2 ... 4 5 5 timings (stock timings for the ram at 400 (800) )

whacked both to +0.3v , vdimm at +0.4v

Are those volts safe to use?

you wont ever have a problem with the allowed voltages bar the ram and cpu, which you have to suit to your chips and cooling :)

plus my chipset is watercooled, not breaking a sweat atm ;)
