yes, the "tile" setting will allow one image to flow from one monitor to the other. you must ensure your wallpaper is the exact right size or it'll tile as it would normally, or flow out of the screenspace.

alternatively, the program "Ultramon" (a must for dual-screen use anyway) will allow you to set a different wallpaper for each monitor, allowing you to set to halves of one image to each screen.

so what ya saying then is if i have a 1920x1200 monitor i have to double the 1920 size to get it on the other monitor ??

so in fact my desk top picture has to be 3840 x 1200 to spread across both monitors ?

ok where do u find piccies that size ??

just tried resizing one an it makes it look all funky :(

Google is your friend. Loads of places with big wallpapers - perhaps start at Deviant and go on from there...I just either use my own photos or search the web. Try googling "dual screen wallpaper" - loads comes up.

there are many ways to get the size of a picture, you can hovver over the image and you shoudl see the tooltip box and should tell you in there. another way is to right click on the image file and click properties and then click on the details tab should tell you in there.

This^ ultramon is a great program for Multi monitor setups, as well as the desktop image solution, it adds lots of extra features like taskbar across all monitors.

I have ultramon running but my setup has secondary monitor to the left of the primary, so when ultramon splits the wallpaper the half are the wrong way around, even though in the ultramon preview window they are correct, is there a setting to fix this that ive not found yet,

i cant switch the orientation of the sreens due to desk space, and the primary is 22" and secondary 19"
