Hello all. Looking for a bit of help / advice on my painfully rubbish OC on my new CPU. This is what I've hit so far:

9.0x multiplier = 376.5 FSB = 3.3885Ghz
8.0x multiplier = 378 FSB = 3.402Ghz

I've tried 8.5x, 7x and 6x but they don't provide any joy. Neither does upping the vcore to 1.29v.

What else can I try? Spec in sig.

~377mhz seems very low. Have you unlinked the memory or dropped it to a ratio that won't interfere with the CPU clock?

Okay I'm at 1522 QDR (380.5Mhz) FSB at 6.0x with the voltage set to Auto. The mobo shows it having 3.2-3.4v being put through it.

And no, I'm not on the latest BIOS because all the BIOS' seem to be a bit rubbish according to the Asus forums.

I've had a mare with mine over the weekend, games started crashing to desktop, pc wouldnt hold overclocks..........finally sorted with memory timings relaxed and volts pushed up to 1.39 in bios. Now running at 4Ghz with just under 9 hours of Orthos stable.

Lost a couple of hundred points of my 3DMark score, but nevermind.
