Doesnt the temps in this pic seem a little odd? oO
OC'd to 3.6, speedstep (I think thats what its called?) enabled to see if it drops temps at all but always getting 40 dc in realtemp.. and this is idle.
Dropping it to stock speeds and the temp is only ~ 2dc lower so OC isnt to blame (Voltage is on stock btw)
Been having a few shutdown problems due to heat when gaming.
So some questions.
I hear the heatsink not being seated properly could cause heat issues, im using freezer 7 pro and surely with the way the pins work theres only one way to seat it? oO
Next - Any programs to tell you the ambient case temperature? (guess not), could this being too hot be causing the problem? two 4850's could be causing a massive ambient temp right? and elevating the CPU temps?
Thanks for the help.
