Another EK nickel plating failure?

Just been cleaning my system out and took the top off my EK 6870 block to find this...

Looks like the plating has failed, only ever been run with Mayhems H20 and a kill coil.

Opinions/Ideas???

just had a quick read through all that.

its the red blotches on the top right of the heat channels im most concerned with. THey dont wipe off, looks like exposed copper to me.

is there an email for gregor so i can ask his opinion on this?

I know this sort of thing can be annoying and frustrating but send a nice email and they will help you, i was even allowed to pay the difference for a 6990 block when my fc5870 failed after i explained that i had already sold the 5870 and another block for it would be pointless.

id be happy with an en version of my block, just dont fancy sending the old one to slovenia! will wait and see what they say. never had any issues with my supreme hf or dominator block so just bad luck i suppose!

haven't had an issue with my CPU block but my gfx block flaked

They refund you postage though
