Another Example of Idiocy

Good, she should have been removed. She could easily have been armed or violent. How is she shocked? She shouldn't have been in there. What an absolute melt. I bet these are the same climate protesters who then fly to their luxury holiday.

I see women and men getting handled far worse by bouncers on a Saturday night when they're doing something they shouldn't and everyone seems to be in agreement that that's okay. So why not now? Oh wait, because politics.

A bit unfair on the lady I say. All I see in this picture apart from the lady obv is middle aged while males. i.e. gammon

Apart from the 4 visible females and at least one male with a skin tone not resembling bright pink

Um...it was a non-violent peaceful protest and he assaulted her!

At what point is it ok to intervene? Somebody could have a concealed knife etc... do we just let them walk up to the chancellor and take the risk?

What do these morons actually expect the government to do that it isnt already doing? Lets all just stop driving to work and live off roots from the ground? Imagine being married to one of those women, I use the word women lightly here.

I imagine that the majority of people at the dinner had an expectation of safety. This is evidenced by none of them reacting in the same way that one person over-reacted.
It's the "someone else will deal with it" mentality that most have these days.

What if it wasn't a peaceful protest and let's say she had acid in her bag or something (unlikely I know)

Turn up somewhere you aren't invited and expect to be ejected.

If it was a male protestor would the reaction be the same?
If he was worried about it, why did he leave her hands free and go for the neck?

That's not a restraint technique that stops someone using a weapon.

He was acting more like a drunken, violent thug than someone removing a (peaceful and non threatening) intruder, especially as given the location and the people present there would have been actual police present as well.

Do stupid things, win stupid prizes. I am sure that the police would have been just as nice. Maybe they would even have handcuffed her.

Greenpeace are not fluffy gentle idealists and are probably trained to expect and resist this kind of response, I see no foul.

She lucky it wasn’t the French hosting the event.

He isn't restraining her, hes gone for her neck to through her out. Its completely uncalled for and ridiculous.

If you think someones armed then you aren't grabbing them by the back of the nexk, you're going for their hands.

You reckon he does that to a man? Absolutely not.

Was she hurt? No
Has this given them far more publicity than they would have got? Yes
Looks like a win for them.

The idea this guy did anything extraordinary or reacted over the top is absolutely laughable in my book. Has nobody ever been to a pub or club where people acting unacceptably get removed by staff? This was nothing, absolutely nothing.

You cannot surprise people in a safe, private setting and expect all of them to react in a completely passive way. People do things spur of the moment when they sense a threat. If you don't want to get yourself in bother, don't cause bother.

There are much much bigger injustices and things to worry about than a 5 second manhandle of someone being a dick.
