Seems a lot of people are having exchange problems at the moment!

Anyone got any thoughts on this:
Our exchange server has been running fine for about a year with no major problems.

In the last couple of days however users can connect to the server and retrieve their mail but after a while new messages no longer get delivered to there Outlook, the messages are getting stored on the server though as they are there in OWA, just not being pulled to Outlook.

The only way to solve this is to close outlook and open it again, then the messages appear. After some time (seemingly random amount of time) they will now recieve messages to thier inbox again.

Any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly recieved as I just dont know what to do!

First thing I'd do is take a look in the "Application" and "System" event logs on the exchange server to see if there is anything in there that sheds some light on your problem.

For example you might find a error message saying the server is out of licenses and preventing certain users from connecting.

I think I *may* of fixed it. Had some problems last week with OOA not working, had to change some permissions on the IIS EWA site, seems I needed to make some changes to OAB too, maybe I changed the permissions on there without thinking.

Anyway, seems to be 'Send and Revieving'-ing without any problems which it wasnt doing before (sorry forgot to mention that). Will give it an hour and see what happens!
