(another) First Time Overclock!!

I have Q6600 G0
Asus PK5-E
2*1GB Crucial Ballistix PC PC2-5300

Armed with the necessary guides and tools I thought I'd make a start!!

Before making any changes, I thought I would memtest and Orthos just to see if they threw anything up before I started.. Which they did!

MemTest throws errors up with both sticks are installed single sticks in each of the slots are ok and no errors are reported, but two sticks do

Orthos after about 30 secs gives this error :

FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4

I do get the odd windows error, but put that down to vista!

Before I start tweaking, does it look like Ive got dodgy ram etc? (if so how do i find which one if memtest passes individually?!)

At the moment, I have the bios set to "standard", so everything is showing as auto. CPU z is reporting 5- 3 -3 -15 -20
Frequency 333.4
FSB: DRAM 4:5
Voltage 1.8V

Core Voltage 1.144v (although this varies in CPU z)

When say increase by 0.1v is this the DRAM Voltage?

I have now set my DRAM to 2.2
VCore to 1.25

and the errors have disappeared Off to the overclocking guide

When looking at the comments on the ram page, people have overclocked the ram.. will the come about whilst following the guide or is that the next level?!!
