Yeah but its on the outside of the case, with the plugs in they'll stick out so i'll have to mount it upside down

Ok, then perhaps you need to send it back and try a different rad or something.
You need to have those ports plugged.

AFAIK there is no upside down with regards to mounting a rad.

Why didnt you mount the rad in the roof as the coolermaster page says the haf 933 can mount a 240 rad in the roof and the pic below shows there is enough room to get one in there?

Because the rad is that big. It would practically rest on the RAM lol. See how close it is on that pic
