Another GPU Death??

I'd be very suspicious of a 'repaired' card failing a month later. Send it back and hope for a GTX470, but try it in a different PC first just in case it really is a driver issue :p

I have a GTX280 and a 8800GT also running in this machine and im not having any issues with them at all
As for sending it back to them again i am contemplating that but i severley doubt they will send me a GTX470 considering i offered them the option to replace my 9800GTX with either a GTX275 or GTX280 after declining their offer of a GTX260.
As for trying in a differrent pc i dont have one built that accepts a PCI-e video card.
Although i do have another mobo which i was saving to replace this one when i had bought all the required parts for my WC upgrade.
 
I wouldn't bother swapping out the mobo. Maybe try the 9800GX2 in a different PCI-e slot, but unless you're also swapping out things like the PSU/HDD, it's not worth the hassle of trying a different mobo, when you know the PCI-e slots are working with other cards.

trying it in another pci-e slot seems a good idea before sending the nasty email off to leadtek

as for swaping out the mobo i was planning on this a while ago for the amd750 sb chipset rather than the 600sb chipset im using just now.
from what ive read it should give me a more stable base to get my phenom ii 940 oc stable at around 3.8Ghz

I have only put it off as i also decided to add a pa120.2 rad to the roof of my case which requires cutting and some other mods inside the case to improve cable management. As i intend to add my various video cards to my WC loop.

Ive still got a few bits to get for it but i suppose swapping the mobo out now couldn't hurt.
 
Swapping anything won't work as it's the graphics card
