Another Graphics card Question! £150-ish

I recently bought a graphics card for a friend from Member Market. a GTX 670.

Now I've decided to go the second hand route myself. I'm looking for as much performance as possible for around the £150 mark, I did see a £170 280x Toxic card yesterday and I was almost ready to snatch it up, but thought I'd grab advice first.

I'm happy going AMD or Nvidia
 
If you wanted the best price/performance you could pay a bit extra and go for a 290. Depends if you care for noise or not.
 
R9 290 is possible, if someone is selling one with a aftermarket cooler even better. What resolution do you have and what do you have now GPU wise?
