Another Headset thread

Hey all, just thought I'd pop in and get some opinions on a decent headset after my current set decided to give up lol- anyways ballpark range of £60 (give or take a little)

Doing some googling and the Kingston HyperX Cloud seems to have a lot of backing around it and positive reviews - is this something you'd recommend yourself or any other suggestions, been looking at perhaps the Sennheiser PC 320 or so

The main use would just be for chatting with mates while gaming (play abit of everything), needs to be over-ear as my old set happened to be on-ear and got uncomfortable after a while of usage (and never had that problem with my headphones I use for movies etc)

Recently picked up a Xonar Phoebus soundcard so if any particular headset will compliment it I'm open to suggestions.

I've been doing lots of digging recently and pretty much everything points to the HyperX Cloud within this budget range. It seems to get glowing reviews across the board. The only other option is headphones and a clip on mic which would be better sound quality, currently the predicament I'm in!
 
Its the best in its price range, alongside the CAL!s - which aren't a headset, you'd need to get a decent mic alongside. You're looking at spending roughly double to see a substantial difference in SQ for gaming.
 
I havent listened to the HyperX cloud headset so i cant comment on it but the Creative Aurvana Live 2 are absolutely awwsome and so much better than the steelseries 9h i had before, which were pretty good considering its a "gaming" headset, but nowhere near the CALs in terms of Audio quality. I really do not believe you can find something that sounds as good for the kind of money they cost (i payed 500 DKK which would be around 55-60 pounds).
