Sorry for another help me upgrade thread but i have lost touch of what's good and what's not good
my current setup at the moment is

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200
Corsair XMS2 2GB DDR2 PC2-6400
MSI K9A Platinum Crossfire
PowerColor ATI Radeon HD 3870 XT

psu is a Corsair HX 520W

tbh i am happy enough with my gfx so really only looking to change mobo,cpu and memory £200 ish to spend maybe a little more not fussed if its amd or Intel

any suggestions be appreciated
 
Get the tri core if you can stretch an extra 20, or a better motherboard (although that one is good enough):
