Another Help Thread - Sorry :(

Brought some DDR400 ram the other day, installed it, they work fine but as the PC boots up it says 333mhz not 400.

Do i need to change stuff in the BIOS?

Yeah go into the bios and change the timings to 400

What motherboard do you have?

Are you using 2x512mb?

I have a MSI and yea 2 x 512.

I'm having the same problem, damn ebay ram. set the bios to manual and put up the freq setting to 400mhz, good luck if its remains stable, but the bios should set it automatically if it was stable. Leave a few more specs on the pc
