Another I got a virus thread

Hiya guys i had to format and reinstall xp at the weekend after 3 years of installing and uninstalling my xp went completley boobs up.

I`m using zonealarm and nod32. With avg. windows defender. adawre and spybot. for on demand scanners.
youd think with all that id be covered but no one got through it originally came up in zonealarm saying iexplorer.exe notice the extra R at the end IE is iexplore.exe. I belive i have come across this before but cant get any definate removal answer off the net apart from a couple of Download this new scammer.

so as a precaution i uninstalled IE rebooted and wow its trying to access the net even though IE is not on my system anymore

so I have ran highjackthis and posted log file on net nothing came up as bad

However my symptons say there is something there when zonealarm pops up my comp freezes for a minute or so, There are a couple of posts on here about the same problem but they werent updated with a fix

You shouldn't use 2 antiviruses at once.

I'd love a virus but they ain't cheap.

I dont use two a/v at the same time they are on my hdd but i use nod32 active and the switch it off and run the others just for scans etc
