Another Intel ME Security Disaster

The only time I ever needed one was to support a new CPU, it was done via an .EXE in Windows to update the IME Firmware then a new Bios once done.
 
You need to wait for the Intel updates to go into the relevant BIOS update for your system. So the availability of a patch from Intel isn't much use if you are impacted and that hasn't happened yet ..
 
Leave well along in that case, and again the ME Updates I have done are not Bios updates they are a .EXE ran in Windows normally to add support for a new CPU to existing Mobo/Chipset.

You do however update the bios afterwards that fully support the newer CPU, and instructions tell you to do so in that order.

And our Governments where lobbying the big tech companies to right backdoors in to their software so they could spy on us.

Oh and don't forget, do away with encryption.... :confused:
