I don't remember sending any video in. However, http://www.fosters.co.uk/ under £1000 winners, has got my name on it as well...

If your name is on the Fosters website I would be more likely to believe it. After all, they don't need your bank details to send you a cheque either. So all they would gain is your name and address.

Best advice has been given already, give Fosters a ring - see if the girl and number in the mail are legit. If not post the full details here and OcUK can get to work. :)

Just rang up. They just confirmed my name and address and sending a £1000 in the next 28 days.

Cool.

Anything with that many exclamation marks is a scam!!!!!

lol yeah you get 1 mark for explaining in the header, 1 mark for explaining what you won, 1 mark for explaining how you won it and 1 mark for explaining how you claim it

really dude, you recieve any mail saying you won anything that you never applied for you'd be a douche (what ever that means) for thinking you won it, Im shocked and appaulled you had to ask lol. you ever hear of junk mail?

I would ask your mates if any of them did it in your name as a Joke or something.

The majority of this things are scams but seeing as your name was on the web site as a winner I am more inclined to think it is legit.

Actually, just been foraging through my mail and found an email where I registered for foster's laidback legends in August.

Thing is I can't remember why I registered, and I sure as hell can't remember what video I uploaded. Maybe it was a mistake? Oh well, ker-ching!

And if I don't get a cheque, it's no big deal, I haven't lost anything. They didn't ask for any bank details. Only name and (uni) address.
