Just introducing the latest Mini to our household, a hot orange Mini One convertible. This will be driven by my girlfriend while her son will drive her Fiesta. She's always wanted one, so I thought it would be a good idea - any excuse for another Mini, and being a convertible makes it a bit more special.

It's a 2004 on 73k miles and in generally good condition. Had all the wheels refurbished by the dealer, all fully serviced and air con regassed.

Here are some pics after I brought her home:

Looks nice OP.
Is it the post July 04 model (look at the back stick next to the washer res)
If not keep an eye out on the rad, as they are prone to leak and power steering pump as well.

Thanks, not sure on it's manufacture date, so will check. All convertibles are facelift models so won't have the chocolate Midlands gearbox!

Looks in good nick for the age.

Is there actually any coolant in the expansion tank though? I only ask as there seems to be quite a few places on minis where the coolant likes to do a disappearing trick on.

It is a little low on coolant so I'll get the garage to top it up. It's just been changed so it probably needs just a little more.

Look at the weather there jeez hope you got your winter tyres on.

Nice BTW, was it good VFM considering the time of year?

Not snowing yet but it's supposed to on Monday!!

It's been for sale for a while but didn't have the need for it then, so it had already been reduced. Seemed to be ok VFM looking on AT, and getting all the fluids changed and wheels refurbed etc seemed ok to me.
