sorry to be yet another but my pc has decided to die and i am almost clueless as to what the problem is
in short i've been to a small lan at my friend's and there we some grounding issues there, but everyone else's pc fared perfectly fine and mine has before, but when re setting up my pc at home i kind of dropped it about 20cm onto the ground
now when i hit the power button it posts fine and gets to *** point where it says 'verifying dmi pool data' and stops there when it're trying to boot off the harddrives (i have two in raid0 so i've tried both of tehm separatly aswell)
so i tried my windows disc for a reformat but it gets past the dmi pool data bit and says 'boot from cd...' the disc drive spins up but it doesn't pregress to the part where it asks me to press any key to boot windows disc
as it's not the hard drive i assume it can only be the motherboard, i think i will try a bios reset but i have no hopes that it will work...
does anyone have any other ideas as to the cause of this?
