right we all know its full of randoms etc

but i use it 2 keep in contact with people i actually know.

i updated my profile 2day, and since then in the past 10 mins i have had 20 friend requests from randoms, mostly bands. so my question is this, how do i stop this spam? i assume ive been put on the front page or something :confused:

I don't know how to stop this spam, but bands trying to add me all the time is really damn annoying, let me know if you find out.

look in the options menu, theres a block bands tickbox

Is there something in your profile or something that's attracting the bands to you? I noticed since I removed the "like going to gigs" from mine I get far fewer band requests

trying to pimp themselves... its a bit sad really. best thing to do is either make your profile private (if you can) or delete it altogether

cheers 4 the suggestions il go try them, the friend requests are still coming, the thing is i like all types of music, but you wouldnt get that from my profile, it plays dance music and it says that i only like dance music

i disabled emails on mine, so i dont get prompted

ill just check now and then during a day for messages, better then getting loads of emails
