another need a new monitor thread..

sorry! but i do need a new one and really struggling.
at the mo i use a samsung 6 series 40" as my main monitor and basically im moving house so this is gonna go in the lounge which means i need a new monitor for pc gaming.

now i thing a 24" should be fine and my budget is about £200 (the cheaper the better) i normally game at 16x9 windowed, but a 1080p monitor would also be ok.

anything around worth grabbing iv read a few reviews of what i thought might be good ones only to find an average conclusion.

What kind of games do you play? How important are the following to you?

- Energy efficiency
- Colour accuracy
- Vividness of colours and contrast
- Monitor responsiveness
- Viewing angles

This may help me make some recommendations for you.

Mostly fps games really
I used to game on a samung 5 series so if colour balance and stuff is similar or better then that I'd b happy

My recommendation would be the BenQ V2400 ECO or G2420HDBL. As with all TN panels, the colours aren't as accurate as they could be - but you will find the image pleasing, vibrant and more than accurate enough for FPS gaming. There are lots of happy users of this monitor on the forums it seems. Although I haven't tried it myself (so I can't wholeheartedly recommend it) I would say these are the best sub-£200 24" panels at the moment.
