Hello all,

Just got a mate to build me a i920 on a Gigabyte UD5 with corsair XMS3 6gb 1600 Ram. Now, I've not overclocked since the days of the 1900 Athlon, so quite a few years ago.

Anyway, I managed to get the i920 upto 3.36 (haven't bothered to go higher yet) but am unsure of the RAM fsb

I know my ram should run at 1600mhz, but not sure what to make of the following screens (it reports Max FSB as 667) - CPUz shows the following. Can someone in the know let me know if this looks correct please as I'm thinking it should show 1600mhz for the ram fsb?

Thanks in advance,

Rob.

yes it looks correct your Dram frequency is at 800mhz (1600mhzDDR) my memory reports max bandwidth as 533mhz but it is at 1600 also. its confusing because of the way the memory profiles work

Everything looks good here mate, your RAM is running at 1600MHz with the correct timings to.

I will say though, for 3.35GHz you really don't need to be pushing 1.344v vCore through the chip.
