im sorry if i keep asking silly questions but i'd like to know were im going wrong here please.

Here i achieved grade <b>C</b> in Science double award, design and technology,georgraphy and Grade <b>D</b> in Maths and English.

i am currently using this method to link my old school in, now in mozzila firefox it opens in a new tab which was the intention but when i use this in internet explora it changes the origonal page to the link and then i need to use the back button am i codeing it wrong?
any advice please its not major important but i would like to know where im going wrong.
