I've spotted another "Power of 3" advert on the net that is currently counting down. All it says is "3 is the magic number" adn very little else apart from the counter.

As of this moment (November 2nd at 3:12PM) it's got 5 days, 22 hours, etc left to run.

What's being released in 5 days?
Is it the 8800GTX? And the new NVIDIA Motherboard chipset and something else...?

And what does the 3 bit mean?

Neither did I, just pure speculation like everything else on this forum lately. :p

Never too early to hype up Nvidia's graphics card, even if they've not announced they're working on one yet.

DirectX 10 will crush all, Catalyst 6.10 will be like amphetamines for X1950s, so naturally this Nvidia graphics card exists and will be so elite we might as well throw our graphics cards away entirely and just have a PPU because PPUs are so OMGACE.
 
I saw an advert for it on a competitor's website, but for obvious reasons I can't say who.

The 3 referred to GPU (Nvidia), Mobo (Nvidia), and CPU (Funnily enough, Intel). And a few jokes about 3 not being a crowd, wink, wink.

There is a countdown, which is currently on 5 days, 21 hours, 13 minutes...
