Nice car but do you not think a Mondeo ST200 is rather stretching the definition of a 'project'?

I always thought a Project was a major rebuild of something classic. You take a completely hammered 205 GTi, perhaps an old Golf, maybe even a Cortina, and rebuild it over a long period of time. Thats a project.

Now it seems people are using 'project' because it sounds better than 'shabby car'.

Don't get me wrong, I am a huge Mondeo ST200 fan and think they are excellent, but is it a 'project' or just a a bit of a tatty example?

Sorry, yes, I didn't really mean it's a "project car", I just meant it as in it's one of my "projects" - like the computer, website, etc.

Fox, Depends on the amount of work hes doing i suppose, could be going for engine conversions and all sorts, i agree that tarting up the paint work and replacing alloys is hardly a project, but we have no idea what hes doing

Roof off, convert to four wheel drive/rear wheel steer and install a steam turbine. I would say that is a project
