Hey there guys

So from the title you know what I'm going to ask.

I'm looking to build a PC for a friend (who's clueless on building and parts) for gaming/streaming.
I'm completely fine with building the PC - if that parts obviously work together ;P but selecting bits.. I'm pretty useless at.

Budget of around £1500 though it must include windows and a monitor (other peripherals are fine)

Any help guys <3 :)!

Quickly threw this together, should tick all the boxes. I went with the older ryzen 7 to save some pennies, but you still get 8 core 16 thread which is pretty great for streaming, and a stock cooler. Put in a couple 1080p monitors, useful for streaming, unfortunately won't be able to make use of the freesync (could maybe swap out the 1070 for a vega 56, little more money similar performance, but you get to use the freesync :) )

I've not included windows as it can be found elsewhere fairly cheaply ;)

something like this. nearly the same as mine tbh.. second monitor for streaming so only used for chat and forums etc. using the AMD card will make use of the FREESYNC monitor.

As I got two/three messages about monitors, I've asked my friend and they're not bothered about multiple monitors, a single one would be completely fine ^^

I would suggest downloading Win 10 from Microsoft and just using it free for the time being as £105 is way too steep for an OS imo.

The monitor is listed as pre-order so you would have to ask ocuk on an eta for it, or go with a different screen.

Case is personal pref so just went with a fairly popular Phanteks.

If only I had suggested that in my post :p

still grey area on here with mods. techically shouldn't go into to much detail and at the end of the day, taxes possibly being missed etc - moral line blah blah

£40 over, Vega 64 and 1440p 144hz screen - i5 8400 which will run fine with Vega 64 as 1440p puts more workload on GPU :)
