I have been thinking of buying new wheels for a while now but after seeing that I might look into a refurb, possibly even do it myself.

Lowered more at the front than the back.

Probably because I wasted time not burning the callipers, and making the wall behind look right.

I prefer the colour of those in your effort, its a tad too low though :p

What do people think? Changing the wheels to anthricate/gunmetal look much better but I am still a little unsure on the style of them.
 
I think DreXeL has the hight about spot on, looks like it came out the factory like that, hiding the tyres a bit like I did looks chavvy now I've had a minute not looking at the image.

But that's just my opinion, I like subtlety.
 
I agree with you. I prefer it when there is only a few mm between the tread of the tyre and the arch. It looks a bit silly if the tyre is behind the arch imo, all the kevs around my way seem to love it, which is enough for me to hate it.
