What do you guys think of this spec? I'm not going to be overclocking at all, just playing games such as BF2 and watching/listening to films and music.

What do you guys think of this spec? I'm not going to be overclocking at all, just playing games such as BF2 and watching/listening to films and music.
I'd say if you can squeeze it in the budget, go for an e6600, since you're not overclocking.

Any reason you're going for the ds3 versus a cheaper version if you aren't overclocking?
 
I'd probably consider changing the PSU for another model, I think there are better options than Hiper for the price. If it must be modular then I'd look at the Enermax Liberty 500w or the OCZ Modstream 520w for around the same price. This isn't to say it won't work and would not be fine but this may just be a personal foible of mine :)

I'd also probably change the DVDRW for an NEC or Pioneer drive but again this might just be personal preference.

I agree on both counts, mainly due to having similar personal preference.
