I have a intel core 2 2.4 ghz, 4gb ram, 1tb hard drive e.t.c

never had a problem with this system and now all of a sudden it crashed when i reboot the network device won't connect, its on a lag connection the circle just round but not spinning in system tray, tried the trouble shooting can't find anything and when i go into control panel and device manager it just freezes!

tried system restore but nothing
any ideas ?!

yeah but I've just unplugged it, every time I reboot windows now it don't load up just a blank screen I go into talk manager shut down explorer and re open it but not everything loads up the desktop does e.t.c. but still getting the same problem when i go into control panel and try clicking on the icons it just freezes that window.

another thing its doing now is saying there is not enough memory to run my computer and control panel!
it is doing my head in, it does boot up in safe mode fine thug
any ideas ?

try clearing cmos, leave out motherboard battery for 30mins,then try

make note of your bios settings as it will wipe them

well if it boots up in safe mode then it looks ok,and yh seemslike its corrupted windows, but a lan not working could be bios/cmos problem

boot into safe mode and do system restore to few days ago, that should fix it

tried cleaning it just the same gets into windows and the network device still frozen and can't get into any of the control panel stuff e.t.c

it works fine in safe mode though thats the thing the network device! but its not just that its crashing in stuff and then saying not enough memory when opening up my computer e,t,c I've had enough I've going to do a format!
