Recently sent my ASRock Fatal1ty Z68 Pro Gen3 Motherboard for a BIOS Update, got it back and was so excited to finally be able to get the PC up and running, got it all put together professionally and turned it on.
The Motherboard light didn't show error 55 went through to 4F and then 9A (or A9) and then the PC turned off.
After a few seconds it then restarted and again after about 3-4 seconds turned off again, it does this on a loop constantly. I have taken out every piece and made sure it was all connected correctly, made sure no pins or screws where touching the Motherboard and couldn't find anything.
I took the PC into my local PC shop and they said that they couldn't see anything out of place. We had a chat and came to the conclusion that it seems either the Processor or the Motherboard is faulty.
Now as I sent the Motherboard in for a BIOS Update surely the Motherboard must have been working for them to do this however I am not completely sure. Going to ring tomorrow anyways just wanted to have a quick check to see if anybody had any ideas on what it could be or if it is definitely a faulty processor.
Thanks
