Sorry about all the thread just in the process ordering a new pc.

Is OCZ Freeze a good paste? Read some reviews they seem to have some promising points?

Thanks

MX-2 is better than AS5.

But yeah the OCZ Freeze is meant to be very good, tho I've personally never used it.

defenatly go for the mx2, especially if your going to be using it on the chipsets

Its better for temps and also a lot easier to spread

Ordered some about 5mins ago. Been on a few review sites and it came out with almost same temps as MX-2 but was a lot better then AS5.

I think i will give it a whirl? Or should i cancel and go for the MX-2 will be with a tuniq tower

I would stick with the Freeze.

Tuniq are meant to make a very good paste too, tho I'm not sure if that's what they include with their coolers.

I canceled the order going to get some MX-2. Need to make sure i was refunded the money on my card now.

1. £2 cheaper
2. I can buy it from OcUk
3. Its rated better

:D

Not sure about the Tuniq, but you usually get atleast a little single-use sachet or tube of paste with coolers.

Have to try and find out if it does becasue that would save me some money.

Glad i canceled order as in 6 days time i get free P&P so MX-2 paste be almost £3 cheaper.

Its really annoying about the 4870's as Offer finshes Tuesday i get free P&P Friday you think OcUk might be able to knock it off for me :D:D

How do you get free P&P? I hate to admit it but postage costs have ruled out OcUK for being the better value the last two times I've ordered components :(

I used to used AS5, but I ran out and picked up some MX2 in a hurry.
Personally I can't tell the difference, they are both as good as each other in my systems.

I did get some Akasa AK-TC 5022 and it was pants. It was too thick and stodgy to spread evenly even with the supplied spreader - it was more a putty like material. V V Bad.
