Another question about laser printers? :D

Hi,

Theres a Toner on ebay going very cheap! I have just got a new laser printer with new toner but If I was to buy a new toner that is unopened would it last a long time say a year when I would use it?also would it apply to the drum aswell?

Also what does Duplex mean?

I guess it would depend on if you print loads of documents and photo's ect.
Also I try to print in draft mode to save on ink and it does last for ages in that mode.

I wouldn't say I would use it everyday tho, just if and when I need something printing I can get it done. But just ebay have the drum and toner relativly cheap and I didn't no if I should buy it and put it somewhere in the cool,dark place.

Well if you can find out the manufacturer, you could email their support and find out the self life of the toner, like you say if it all dries up within say 6 months it will be usless to you.
