Hi,

Think i have posted in every section of this forum in the past few weeks, nearly at the end of my upgarde journey..!

I need to know what is the best AM3+ board i can get for less than 150 notes.

Somewhere around 100 would be awesome but id pay £150 if it was worth it!

Quite like the look of this for £111

but thing is - i dont really know what im looking at. My only stipulation apart form 150 quid is PCIe has to be x16 / x16 or x8 / x8 for xfire.

And, no thanks i dont want a £180 intel CPU...

That board does what you want it to, SLI/Crossfire at 8X/8X.

2 x PCIe 2.0 x16 (x16 or dual x8)

This is the cheapest - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-349-GI&groupid=701&catid=1903&subcat=2046

1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x16 (PCIEX16) (Note 3)
‪2.‬1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x8 (PCIEX8) (Note 4)

(Note 4) The PCIEX8 slot shares bandwidth with the PCIEX16 slot. When the PCIEX8 slot is populated, the PCIEX16 slot will operate at up to x8 mode.

Out of interest actually why is the GD80 cheaper than the GD65?
