Another Round of Price Increases ?

The cheapest has been the preorder kfa2 @ 600 pounds for the past two weeks or more?

And that new lowest price title was only lost less then 24 hours ago.

So while i have no problem saying at the time i posted i was infact incorrect that the prices had not changed i would also say it was a very recent change and is the first time in along time we have seen sub 600 pound 1080 (1p does not count).

I could also post info showing the pretty hilarious exchange rate to price change that that gpu has been doing but i wont ;)

That's not a fair one to pick on as they have yet to supply a single card afaik. So cards like that get priced way above their exchange price.

The fact that there is now premium custom cards with premium coolers and pre oc available for the same price as that kfa2 should tell you so

I've seen this

Raise in price at latest £5. Seems to be the most popular 1060 as well, I guess that's demand for you.

I genuinely have no idea how nVidia have managed to push the prices up across their whole range, by a full tier, and people are still rushing to buy.

Were the 900 series massively under-valued, and have people been prepared to pay this all along?

Seems weird that a 960 started life at £180, and a 1060 starts life at £260.

Brexit is a single factor but not the whole story.

People buy because there is no alternative - AMD are providing no competition to the 1070, 1080 and Titan XP. This is the main reason NVIDIA can get away with it.

Combined with AMD being very slow to release cards in large quantities this gen has allowed Nvidia to do what they want price-wise. Also, I don't predict that AMD's next gen will match the 1080 or new Titan, hope I'm wrong though.
