SamKnows has me at 2.38 Km away from the exchange in straight line. i know that i am rather far away, but was wondering if there was anything that I could do to improve my speeds, even slightly?

Quiet test was ok, no noise or popping or crackling heard there. Cant wait until they roll out Infinity here.

I have found our date here in Plymouth, but was also wondering is there any way to find out where BT intend to erect the new cabinets?

Not keen on removing the bell wire as 1-not sure which one it is and 2-am in a rented flat, so shouldn't mess about really.

Am now going straight into the test socket and only have house phone hanging off the filter unit. Have given up the Sky box as never use the phone line on that and have no use for the other telephone jack points in the flat. Total count for those is 5......guess where the noise was coming from then?
