Hey all

this is the first time ive posted on this forum so please go easy on me :P.

anyways ive discovered that my dfi lanparty ultra D mobo is dodgy so i need to replace it. why am i posting here then? because i would like to go for a shuttle or similar sff pc. my kit is as follows (any advice and comments would be very much welcome)

opteron 165 (capable of 3 GHz)
2 gigs OCZ pc4000 ram (matched pair)
ATi radeon x1800 XT
2 sata hdds
1 pata hdd (can be ditched if needed for room)
1 scsi drive
1 PCI adaptec 39160 scsi controller card (can work in 32 bit pci slot, (required for scsi drive obviously))

i think thats it, if theres anything else you need to know just ask and cheers for the future help :)

pick up a 2nd hand sn25p, but say bye bye to the scsi and pci card I'm afraid, [1 x pci-e16x slot and 1 pci-e1x slot only] will clock to 300htt with the right bios and has space for 3 HD and an optical

hm...i guess i might be better off just replacing the motherboard or something...something to think about anyways cheers for the quick response!

EDIT: would the shuttle XPC ST20G5 be any good?

perhaps, but I have no 1st hand experiences of its clocking potential to get best out of your chip, IIRC the pci-e is on opposite side and it may offer a pci slot instead of the pci x1, and your gpu would need to be a single slot solution

I'm sure someone else will comment, if the answers are not on the Shuttle website
