Another simple Vista question

How do I stop all my latest viewed files going into C/User/Searches/Recently Changed?

Right click the taskbar, click properties, Start menu tab, uncheck store & display list of recently opened files.

This removes the start menu link, but doesn't unfortunately stop the files being saved to the location you mentioned.

Take it out of the indexing?

How do you do that and what does it do?

How you do it is to open "Performance Information and Tools" (use the search bar). Adjust indexing options is on the left.
