With various bits of business picking up myself and my business partner have decided to form an 'umbrella company' to bring all our operations together (and thus raise awareness of our other capabilities).

The site's pretty much finished, but as always I've been far too heavily involved to have an unbias or third-party view.

It's the first time I've gone with a bottom navigation and I think it works well, but all comments appreciated.

My only qualm is that it's a little bit 'too' white/plain, although that was the idea. Certain pages, such as the Copywriting main page, are a little bit more alive due to the colours introduced with logos or pictures. Hopefully something similar can be achieved with the home page once the showreel has been finished.

Anyway, enough of me yapping: jonesmillbank.com (not linked as don't want Google to see it yet)

All C&C greatly appreciated :).

Personally i like the white simplistic layout , with enough space around content.

The footer text in grey is a little hard to read , especially with different tft viewing angles.
On this page http://www.jonesmillbank.com/web-design/ the "html + creativity + css + php + usability + mysql + w3c + other jargon + u" bit on the right hand side is all overlapping and the text is undreadable.

Looks great overall :) I love the quick navigation bar aswell :P

Thanks for the feedback. When you say footer text do you mean "videography copywriting web design" etc? If so it's not meant to be particularly readable, it's just an SEO-specific footer. If anyone's got any other recommendations as to how to achieve this that'd be great as I can see it'd be a little confusing.

The unreadable text on the web design page was meant to be unreadable - just a load of stuff that the client doesn't need to know about (ie jargon) that's used to get results (that the client really cares about). Perhaps that hasn't come across very well :p

Again, thanks for the comments.

I like! That fixed bottom navigation really shouldn't work, but somehow it works really well.

Apart from a couple of minor typography changes, there's not much I'd do to that. Main one is that I think the line height is a bit low on the blue header text on each page, so the text looks squashed. I think it looks better if you increase it from 23pt to 30.

Why not change it to make it readable though ? It just looks like you messed up on the style sheet to me :P
