Another Spec Check Please

Hi Guys, thinking of getting a new computer. Mine is about 6-7 years old now

. Was thinking of something like this:-

Any thoughts / advice / changes etc?

depending on what res you want too run the monitor on you might be better off with the ocuk 8800gtx.

Get an aftermarket cooler like the tuniq tower.

also i would get an abit ip35 or abit ip35 pro mobo, and ditch the ddr2/ddr3 combo

Was planning on using it in max 1920 res. Though was also considering getting a 3870x2 with it (depending on price / benchmarks)

Isnt the ddr2/3 combo a good thing? Why would you suggest ditching it?

As for the Abit, any particular reason why you would suggest these over the gigabyte for example?
