Been out the loop a while but looking to update to something like below:-

Not sure on a cooler i did like the look of the H50 or the H70?

Any input would be great please.

you dont need triple channel memory, the new SB processors utilise dual channel, so switch to either 4 or 8 GB (2x2gb or 2x4gb)

Yeah swap the triple RAM for some dual channel. Sandybridge don't support it.

Whats the main use of the computer going to be? if games than the 2500K will be a better option.

Noctua NH-D14 and Thermalright Silver Arrow are the 'best' air coolers at the moment. However if money is tight, the Akasa Venom and Gelid Tranqullio are decent coolers for their prices.

Nice choice of mobo though:)

It's going to be regular stuff and encoding video work etc hence the reason i went for the 2600K

Does the gigabyte have the features like the asus boards such as , 2 overclocking settings in the bios you can load up. The ability to put the computer to sleep but it will carry on downloading things like that?

I've always used Asus but it seems people are having issues with them at the moment?

I own a Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 at the moment .

I take it the G.Skill RipJawsX 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit would be decent memory as it on offer of the day atm.

Also would the Arctic ccooler fit the 2600k ok?
