Hello, I'm after some help on choosing a case for a system my old man is still deciding on.

Essentially, it would fit into as many of these as possible:
It is within an £80 budjet (well, a little either side won't hurt).
It needs to be quiet- relative, I know, but it needs to go into a home office next to the living room.
I think due to the desk, a full tower might not fit, but we will see.
He is not bothered by how good the case looks, i.e. windows/lights.
Finally, room for a few disk drives, hard drives, and other expansions would be handy.

The system will be air cooled, and currently is shaping up as follows:
Q9450
4GB ram
P45/X38 motherboard
Graphics- not too sure, but anything from an 8600GT to a 4850.
650/700 watt PSU.

Just as an aside, the PC will be used for general internet/office use, alongside video editing/photoshop work, etc.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I don't know how many people would agree with me here, but having just built a new system in an Antec 300, to replace a P182 that got damaged in a move... I don't think there's any reason to buy an £80 case right now, unless you have a load of drives. The 300 is cheap, solid, easy to build in, big enough, and has good cooling once you fill the empty fan spaces. It's no enthusiast's case but it does the job, stunningly well. Makes you realise how much of the other stuff we tend to want in our cases is actually just gimmickery.

Why do you need 700W. You could get a passive Silverstone Nighjar 500W. I have a 300W version in my HTPC and cannot hear it. Infact I cant hear my HTPC it's that quiet :D
