How does this build look? Budget is £600, will hopefully find a second hand HDD so don't need one of them but am allowing £30-40 for one. Will be used for gaming. Only need whats listed below, i.e. no OS.

So you are gaining a modular PSU, a bit more power and two PCI-E connectors (the GTX460 needs two)

I was under the impression that the XFX had a 6pin and an 6+2pin so would be okay for the 460?

I'm sure with a few changes you could a get a HD6870 in there, which is quite a bit better than the GTX460.

460 requires 2+6Pins. Runs any game I throw at it.

Runs about 30oC at 30 Fan speed, whisper quiet even in an open air case

I apologise for the terrible pictures, but I thought I'd post quickly about this build (for a friend) which I did today.

It's a nice case, personally I prefer my Shinobi, having space behind the motherboard for thick cables is really useful. Though, this case did come with a few no-tool clips for an HDD and ODD or two, which are always welcome. Also the painted inside is good. Generally happy with it, and for the price including PSU (i.e. the coolermaster PSU/Case deal) it's great.

These components are so quiet. So nice! My GTX260 is so much louder than this GTX460, though I never really stressed it yet. I was glad to find out the vertex 2 came with an SSD adaptor too, a nice touch. (Getting a b-grade monitor allowed for an SSD )
