I'm looking at getting a new TV after my 4k monitor suffered a rather annoying PS4 controller related accident.
Instead of plumping £400 on a monitor I figure it might make sense to go for a 4k TV which can then double up as a monitor. I'm aware I'll need a DP to HDMI 2.0 converter to actually display 4k on the TV as the 780's I have don't support 4k via HDMI.
I guess the next question is which TV to go for? Are there any I should particularly avoid? I'm looking at 40"-49" size range, ideally don't want to spend more than £600.
Sorry, I know there are a lot of spec me threads here.
Any help you can provide will be gratefully received.
