After my Advent heap died on me-see recent thread- I now have a little bit of spare cash to play with.
So, ideally looking to spend £450 ish. Could stretch to £500 at a push.
Would like:
Intel i5
min 4GB Ram
7200rpm Hdd
Optical drive (min DVD r/w)
Good battery life ( >3 hours)
Win 7 OS
Onboard graphics not really an issue as I'm not a gamer.
Must also be durable. That Advent (why oh why did I buy it??) was as flimsy as.
I'm not really clued up on laptops. I've done a bit of research and have been keeping an eye on Dell outlet. Seen some good deals on there but not sure how rugged they are. Lenovo? Sony Vaio? Samsung? Toshiba?
