I know people get annoyed by them but im sorry, i need some advice.

Im an AMD fan but im getting confused as to whats the best option for me right now. My current setup is pretty old and is starting to struggle with some of the games i play.

This is my setup :

AMD 4200+ (939)
2GB Ram DDR
Asus A8N Sli SE (as i used to run 7900GS in SLI)
ATI 3870 512MB
Hiper 580W PSU

I think thats the important stuff.

Im looking to do an upgrade on the Motherboard / RAM / CPU and then i'll stick with the 3870 for now and maybe change that in the near future.

Ive posted in the past stating AMD would be my prefered route mainly because ive always like them and with the AM3 Route i think it leaves me with more upgrade options than the Core2 Route (I7 is not an option).

But anyway im open to all opinions. Can someone spec me a CPU/MB/RAM upgrade for around £200. Again mainly for gaming although i do play around with VMware a lot for work on my home machine and so that could be a factor also.

Cheers.
