My mates PC is in desperate need of a overhaul and I priced him up what I think would be a fairly decent system on a budget

He's going to reuse optical and hard drives from current rig.

Just don't know whether its worth going for a Q6600 quad and clocking it up to 3-3.2ghz rather than the 8400

Also wanting to check that the heat sink ive chosen will fit on that mb and in the case

Heres what ive got so far, any improvements/problems anyone can see?

Mainly going to be used to play games, War hammer online, Battlefield 3 as well as a media center as he has it hooked up to his 32 lcd and uses that as his monitor so not high.

yeh thats what i was thinking what do you think id be able to get out of the 8400 with this hardware was hoping 4ghz would be possible

I obviously can't guarantee it but with those parts you've given yourself a very decent chance of getting the 4ghz. Be careful though of leaving overclocked PCs in the hands of those non-computer literate unless you are willing to act as tech support. :)
